Daonna Lewis

Daonna Lewis was last seen in “The Spirit of Hope” written by Danielle Daniel in the 2015 Fringe Festival at the Ritz Theatre, and was teaching artist for Harambee at the Ordway.  In 2014 she was in Park Square Theatre's production, "The Color Purple"; she was also artistic staff and dance captain for this production; and received a scholarship to go to Manhattan and train at the Alvin Ailey summer intensive.  She have been the 'Face of Minnesota without Poverty' since 2010 and have performed at 13 different events and locations including the state capital which she choreographed 'Raise the Wage Flash Mob' in 2014. Her TV/Film credits includes: Saint Paul Business Beat: TU Dance; Minnesota without Poverty; Raise the Wage Flash Mob; PBS News Hour: Dance Company Celebrates Diversity, Relevancy, Accessibility; and MN Original: TU Dance Center. She has studied at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artist (2011-2015); TU Dance Center (2012-present) TU Dance Center Intensive 2012-2014; and Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive 2013.
