DESCRIPTION:Wicked Sister Dance Theatre returns to Patrick&rsquo;s Cabaret with Acrobatic Café III, their third annual production of choreography and performance on physical structures. This eclectic mix features all new works in the air and on the ground by company members as well as aspiring choreographic artists.  Under the mentorship of WSDT artistic director, David DeBlieck, this collective of adventurous acrobatic artists will offer a sampling of their creations as part of Acrobatic Café III, May 2-4 at Patrick&rsquo;s Cabaret. Show times are 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and a Family Friendly matinee at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Set in an airport lounge, this comic romp combines Harris&rsquo;s object manipulation skills with Hasnedl&rsquo;s ability to stuff herself inside a suitcase. David DeBlieck will present &quot;Home&quot;, a suite of vignettes created on, around, behind and under an antique oak door. Created in collaboration with company member Amy Nystrom this new work examines the burden and liberation of taking your home on the road. Jerome Bowden takes flight with &quot;Crow Magnun&quot;, a aerial fabric solo examining the primal nature of man&rsquo;s desires.Acrobatic Café III also offers stage time to new choreographic voices Nicolas Collard, Jessica Flannigan, Irene Larson, Stephanie Molstad, Arielah Moskow, Jim Peitzman with Beth Brookes and Erik Hoover, Jack Reitman, Emily Tate and Jessica Vozka. These aspiring acrobatic artists have been climbing on aerial silks, trapeze, ropes and furniture from their own homes to celebrate the process of discovery, invention and creativity within the realm of risk-taking physicality.About the Company . . . Wicked Sister Dance Theatre is a collective of movement artists dedicated to the creation and development of new dance works, drawing from disciplines as far ranging as modern dance, Japanese butoh, visual design, theatre and aerial acrobatics. Since their premiere in 2003, WSDT has presented dance works at Red Eye, Intermedia Arts, Old Arizona and Patrick&rsquo;s Cabaret in Minneapolis and in productions in Illinois and Texas. The company recently performed on the trees at Lake George and at Pioneer Place Theater in St Cloud, MN.
