Ricardo Beaird, an actor, director, playwright, and teaching artist, is the new Teaching Artist Residency Producer of Patrick's Cabaret. He relocated to the Twin Cities from Nashville to work as an Actor Educator with CLIMB Theatre. He is a company member of GTC Dramatic Dialogues, an interactive workshop collective that facilitates conversations around Date Rape, Diversity, and Substance Abuse on college campuses.
 

Nimo H. Farah is an artist and activist that uses language to express things she finds too confusing. Her current undertaking is to develop her skills as an orator while blending Somali and English. She thinks herself charming and hilarious in the Somali language, but rarely does that humor translate into English. Her poetry and short stories have been published in Water-Stone Review, the Saint Paul Almanac, and the Loft Inroads chapter book. As a storyteller she has shared her words at the Black Dog Café, the Loft, and Pillsbury House.

Kat Purcell (they/them) is a trans artist and activist newly moved to Minneapolis, MN from New York City. From intensive classical training to agit-prop street art performance to lighting design and production management, their diverse and comprehensive experience has led them to the conclusion that art and performance are the key to galvanizing the healing and activism of communities.

Alison Bergblom Johnson writes creative nonfiction and tells stories. She focuses on neglected personal stories about the past that intersect with the present. The stories she tells aren’t supposed to be talked about - they are often considered “too personal.” Her work connects to larger political movements: particularly women’s and disability rights.

Ollie Schminkey is a white, non-binary transgender poet/musician/artist. They facilitate, direct, and host many organizations, including a queer open mic called OUTspoken! and a weekly writing workshop called Well-Placed Commas. They have also represented the Twin Cities in numerous national poetry competitions, and they have authored one chapbook, The Taste of Iron. You can find them touring nationally or in the We Will Be Shelter, Drunk in a Midninght Choir, and 20% Theater Co's The Naked I.

As a Twin Cities based poet, TV/radio personality, actress, entrepreneur, creative consultant and community organizer, Brittany “Miss Brit” Lynch is truly limitless. Working interdependently between media, art, curation and social justice, she has emerged as a tastemaker for the local entertainment scene.

Originally from Mexico City, Arturo Miles began dancing in Minneapolis in the late 90’s. He specializes in Hip-Hop, House, Modern and Waacking dance. He is an original member of Collective Hip-Hop Dance Company, and teaches Hip-Hop and House Dance for the Zenon Dance Company and School. Currently a curator at Patrick’s Cabaret and producing work that falls under experimental theater, themed variety shows, and short film. His work has been shown at The Southern Theater, Bryant Lake Bowl, Intermedia Arts, Gamut Gallery and The Varsity Theater.

Erinn Liebhard (BFA University of Minnesota, MFA University of Colorado Boulder) is a dance artist that makes opportunities for people to experience the embodiment of music, specializing in jazz and American vernacular dance. She focuses her efforts in teaching, performance and scholarship. An active educator, she has a wide array of experience in settings as varied as private studios, public education programs and colleges, and is currently on faculty at Winona State University and is a Teaching Artist for the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts (MN).
