Wendy Brown-Báez is a writer, teacher, performance poet and installation artist. Wendy's poetry and prose appear widely in literary journals and anthologies, such as Borderlands, The Litchfield Review, Lavandería, Mizna, Minnetonka Review, The Chrysalis Reader, Wising Up Press,The Feminine Collective and Talking Writing and forthcoming in Water~Stone Review and Peregrine Journal. She has also published two books of poetry. She has performed nationally and in Mexico, in cafes, cabarets, bars, galleries, and bookstores, and curated multi-media exhibitions. Wendy was awarded McKnight and MN State Arts Board grants to teach writing in non-profits and teaches in community venues such as schools, libraries, state prisons, healing centers, churches, arts organizations, women's retreats and yoga studios.
