We're down to our final week in the firehouse that has been home to Patrick's Cabaret for the last 16 years and, while bittersweet, we're excited to update you about our plans for the near future...

The Calof Series - featuring Brittany Lynch, Vickijoan Keck, & Ollie Schminkey

Free to the public! Our monthly series pairs two storytelling/spoken word artists and a singer/songwriter to present works-in-progress. Audiences enjoy free admission, Peace Coffee, baked goods, and the chance to discuss and shape new work with local artists.

Nativeret: “Chases the Dream”

An evening of native humor, music, poetry spoken word, and dance.

A performing art pow wow with a full range of native artists, young and old. Host Tom LaBlanc ‘Old Dakota’ performing poetry. Isabella LaBLanc will join her father with a fancy shawl dance. If you are a native come enjoy laughing and hear about yourself. If you are a non-native come and share, become a friend. Become a blood relation without shedding any blood.

Circulation: Connecting Through Embodying Rhythm (Guest Curator: Erinn Liebhard)

This cabaret features work by Erinn Liebhard with BrassZilla AND Steven Hobert, the Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Karla Grotting, SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE, Dameun Strange, Darrius Strong, THE SUMMER COATS and Magnolia Yang-Sao-Yia. Classic jazz, rock, tapping, acid jazz, funk, house, swing and other approaches to rhythm will circulate through this evening, connecting styles and people through deeply-felt aural and kinesthetic experiences.

Some events may already have services planned. Please see our Calendar, or describe the event. We will eventually need a clear date for the service to be able to provide it, we can help you decide which date you should attend.
Will more people need the same service? We are happy to set up an area so you can sit next to other people joining you.
If necessary, we will follow up to confirm we received your request, discuss options, and ask or answer questions.

We are especially interested in presenting artists working at the EDGE OF CULTURE, whether because of radical content, experimental form, or cultural marginality.
