The Lady Wolf is a fresh face in the world of Twin Cities Burlesque. Wolf got her start in musical theater and cabaret and is now ready to give the whole pack a peek! It's always a full moon with The Lady Wolf!

Akiko Ostlund is a radical and boundary-pushing performance artist based in the Twin Cities. Originally from Osaka, Japan, she developed an interest in tribal fusion belly dance after moving to Minnesota, and subsequently began to study and practice the classical  Indian dance style of Bharatanatyam with the Ragamala school in Minneapolis. In recent years she has developed her own cleverly original dance/performance pieces, as well as insightful and revealing spoken word poetry.

We are a group of dancers based in the Twin Cities dedicated to expression, movement and artistry. With a wide range of dance styles represented within our group, Energy Dance Collective showcases innovation, human experience, and raw emotion. Aside from the fact that we are dedicated to our art, we are fully devoted to each other. Energy Dance Collective is a family, a family who likes to move (and have fun).

Julian Hines has created a kaleidoscope of a path in his artistry for over 10 years in the Twin Cities and abroad. He's studied various genres of dance primarily focused on West African, Hip Hop and Step. Known for his membership in Voice of Culture Drum + Dance, where he trained and honed his craft in West African Dance.

Luz Cruz's work is multidisciplinary; they are a tap dancer, and artist and a writer. Their current work examines generational differences between the upbringing of their ancestors, traditions they have learned and uphold and that of the world they reside in. They center their work around their experiences as a trans person of color, many of their pieces of work are part of a larger show they are currently working on.

Symone Smash It is a space siren from the Symulation, but for now resides in Minneapolis. She's here to show you the cheat codes through EDM and help you become a part of the Symulation.

Yoni is a Nepalese American writer, choreographer and multimedia artist whose work explores trauma, transnationality, and publics. A student of Steve Paxton, Ralph Lemon and Jennifor Monson, she is best known for her installation work with the Soap Factory and Northern Spark, as well as her collaborations with the Minneapolis queer underground.

 

Performer of free flow Poetry/Music/Dance. A creative in many ways, here to elevate. Performs a mix of songs and dance with theatrical vibes, hip-hop/soul/truth.

Alys Ayumi Ogura is a Twin Cities-based performing artist. She started her modern-ballet lessons as a child under the guidance of Japan’s Mika Kurosawa, who was later to become the “godmother” of Japanese contemporary dance. Alys Ayumi then moved on to theater acting in college. 

Sydney Burch holds a BFA in Dance from MSU Mankato. She has produced and choreographed a Fringe show titled Genesis//Revelations and has had her work in 4 adjudicated ACDA shows as well as had the honor of performing works by Dan Stark, Stuart Pimsler, Shapiro & Smith, Gabriel Anderson, Penny Freeh, Julie Kerr-Berry, Uri Sands and Karis Sloss. She is elated to be performing at Patrick's!
