Dance

Erinn Liebhard (BFA University of Minnesota, MFA University of Colorado Boulder) is a dance artist that makes opportunities for people to experience the embodiment of music, specializing in jazz and American vernacular dance. She focuses her efforts in teaching, performance and scholarship. An active educator, she has a wide array of experience in settings as varied as private studios, public education programs and colleges, and is currently on faculty at Winona State University and is a Teaching Artist for the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts (MN).

Karla Grotting is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and producer working with a unique blend of jazz, tap, modern, and percussive dance experiences. She is founding member, principal dancer, and artistic associate with Joe Chvala’s The Flying Foot Forum, and the producer of Lost Voices in Jazz: The Choreographers of the Minnesota Jazz Dance Company.

Lindsay Forsythe returned to Minnesota two years ago, after spending her adult life living on both coasts for the previous 25 years. Some of her identities include: dancer, full-time mother, social worker, music club owner, and pilates instructor. Among the dance artists she has worked with are Philippa Kaye Company, Suarez Dance Theater, Tom Truss Dance Company, Orjan Andersson, and Mary Oslund. She has shown her work at Dance New Amsterdam in New York City and 9x22 Dance Lab in Minneapolis.

As an improvisational artist, Queen Drea uses the energy of each night to give her set life, creating a special bond with each new audience.

Dancer, Choreographer, Black American Griot

Daonna Lewis was last seen in “The Spirit of Hope” written by Danielle Daniel in the 2015 Fringe Festival at the Ritz Theatre, and was teaching artist for Harambee at the Ordway.  In 2014 she was in Park Square Theatre's production, "The Color Purple"; she was also artistic staff and dance captain for this production; and received a scholarship to go to Manhattan and train at the Alvin Ailey summer intensive.

Marcel Michelle Obama is a Queer Trans Artist of Color. She has been a featured artist with 20% Theatre, in Queertopia at Intermedia Arts, with Live Action Set and at Patrick's Cabaret. She is a founding member of St. Cloud's premeir burlesque and vaudeville revue, Carnivale Revolver, as well as a cast member of Visions of Sugarplims, Dykes do Drag and a choreographer to the stars with a client list that includes Elektra Cute, Victoria DeVille, Dahlia Dulce and others.

Hector Chavarria is a performer/playwright/fashionista. He is originally from El Paso, TX and has been in the Twin Cities since 2011. He has been seen performing in various cabarets and social events as his artistic ego known as, "The Big Gay Mexican" and has performed in collaborated work at Mixed Blood Theater, 20% Theatre, and The Walker Art Center. The mission for his work is to inspire and promote self-love.
